Community Stories
Our Community
We are honoured that so many beautiful people have come to join us at ACER. Everyone that joins brings something to the community and many of them have become integral to our offering as Elders, ‘Outegrators’ sharing circle facilitators and hosts for our book groups.
You can read some stories from our community below and if this sounds like a community you want to be part of we would love for you to join us.
Nuvola has been part of the ACER Integration community for nearly two years and is a key member of our community. She has had a number of psychedelic experiences and has found the tools and practices of ACER invaluable when processing and integration those experiences.

I am touched and transformed by the depth of authenticity I encounter in the sharing circles. Nature outside, nature within, all the same. Thank you for this beautiful, emergent, mycelium community. I often travel for work and it is a place to call home, wherever I am in the world.

ACER Integration really surprised me. As an ecologist and psychedelic educator, my engagement with ACER began as professional curiosity about a community-based integration program centered on lessons from nature. What unfolded was an unanticipated gift. Each month includes fascinating interviews, small group meetings, and guided meditations that draw beautiful comparisons between a featured tree species and our own human nature. I didn’t join for psychedelic integration, but I had no idea how much I needed to reflect and to be truly heard. I’ve opted for another year with ACER, and I’m excited to see what community and connection have in store.

It’s really easy to balance the program of ACER with a busy life. You can engage at your own time, at your own pace, as much or as little as is useful to you

ACER has been incredibly enriching as psychedelic journeyer, a practitioner and a human. The ACER values remind me to walk in reverence of the true medicine magic of nature and in gratitude for the generosity of values driven community. ACER community has come together with the intention of Acceptance and Connection. I have personally experienced this deeply and have been offered example after example of how staying connected to this value is essential to being in right relationship with the world pf psychedelics, my personal community and the world at large. ACER practices have become central to my personal introspective practice in my first year. In my second year of ACER I have found that experiencing this accepting community and living within these shared values is healing that part of me that has been afraid of being truly vulnerable in front of others. This is a freeing gift I was not expecting. So Grateful!

ACER has been a sanctuary for me — a place where I can weave together my spiritually transformative and life experiences into a coherent tapestry. ACER's commitment to fostering a deeper connection to the natural world, as well as to each other, has been transformative. The Sharing Circles were a sacred and safe space for me to show up as I am, without judgement or pretense. Through compassionate witnessing I was able to meet myself in a deeper way and develop a new language for integration — one that is more heart- and soul-centric. Everyone involved is so warm, open and grounded, and because of this ACER has redefined what “community” means to me.
